Led Grow Lights
Led Grow Lights the new wave of the future. Light Emitting diode (LED) the first pick of NASA to grow fruits and veggies in the space shuttle. Why? Well as you may already know LEDs are an extremely efficient light source. Led Grow Lights are the best choice for growing simply because you will save money on electricity, no need for cooling because they run at a very ambient temperature. The major difference between LEDs and normal HIDs such as high pressure sodium and metal halide is simply they are more targeted. High pressure sodium lights are an amazing source of light because they stimulate a big part in the 560nm-660nm wavelength. Metal halide lights however focus primarily in the 480nm wavelength. These lights are a great source for indoor growing however they do have a few downfalls. These lights run in extremely high temperatures causing the average temperature in your grow room to clime high thus needing a cooling device. These standard lights also give off a wide variety of spectrums and different wavelengths that the plant s do not need. A big number of major growers normally start the plants with a MH light because the plants are most influenced by the blue when they are babies and red when they are going into a stage called flowering. Led Grow Lights are an awesome choice for growers because they are dual spectrum. Led growing is the future of most hydroponic based business. Keep your eyes open because in 2008 the LED Growing Industry will rise and expand. With technology moving fast and lots of companies and enthusiasts testing different LEDs and ratios we are sure to have a superior product in this year. We have done a lot of testing with different types of led grow light systems however we have found the best results using a light called the LightBlaze 400. We have been testing this light since it was in the early stages of development in July 2007. Although LED grow lights are still extremely expensive these companies are not making much profit on them, to get a quality led grow light you have to use very high powered LED lights. The LightBlaze 400 currently comes fully loaded with 56 High Powered Cree Lights. They are extremely bright and harmful to look into. These LEDs by cree are very expensive running about at almost 4$ each.
