Cheap Led Grow Lights? Although this sounds like a good thing when it comes to LED grow lights it's not so much. But aren't LEDs cheap? Well generally speaking LEDs are very cheap, however if you plan on using them to grow plants think again! Don't take my word for it if you don't believe me buy one of those crappy cheap LED Grow Lights that has hundreds of LEDs on it. The truth behind the matter is the reason LED grow lights have somewhat a bad reputation is because of these cheap led grow lights. Quality LED grow lights are not cheap at all, A high quality LED Light will be somewhere around 3watt+ for example cree carries some of the best LEDs we have seen and they run at about 3.90$ each. We don't recommend buying any cheap led grow lights just save your money. If you are looking for a quality grow light make sure you look for something that's at least a hundred watts, is being cooled so the led's are running at full intensity at all times, and has at least a two year warranty.
